New Construction · Florida

New construction, built to code.

Production homes, custom builds, and small commercial across Florida — installed to current Florida Building Code, backed by our lifetime workmanship warranty.

New-construction roofing is its own discipline — different scheduling, different coordination with framers and trades, different materials cadence. Quality Plus runs new-construction work alongside our residential and commercial side, for builders and GCs across Florida. We install across the four major systems used in Florida new construction: architectural and 3-tab asphalt shingle, concrete and clay tile, standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal, and TPO for flat and low-slope sections.

Who we work with

  • Production builders — tract and subdivision projects.
  • Custom builders — one-off designs, complex pitches, often tile or metal.
  • Multi-family — apartment buildings, townhome runs, mixed-use.
  • Small commercial — single-story retail, freestanding restaurants, warehouses.

Materials we install on new construction

Owens Corning, GAF, and Tamko architectural and 3-tab shingle. Eagle, Westlake, and New Point concrete and clay tile. Factory-finished standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal in the standard color range. TPO for any flat or low-slope section. Every project is installed to the current Florida Building Code and inspected by the local AHJ before final.

How a new-construction project runs

For each project the builder gets a single point of contact, a written scope, and a delivery cadence aligned with the framing schedule. Permits are pulled in our company name (CCC1336409), inspections are scheduled with the AHJ, and the post-install package — Certificate of Completion, lifetime workmanship warranty, manufacturer paperwork — is delivered to the builder at closeout. Payment terms are negotiated per builder; for smaller GC projects we run the same 50/40/10 schedule we use on residential and accept Square, credit, debit, and check. Phones are open Mon–Sun 8am–6pm.

How this works

Done in 8 easy steps.

Timeline
Inspection
Field Inspector climbs the roof and flies a drone for high-res images. Documents wind, hail, moisture, broken shingles, structural damage.

Adjustment
Insurer issues a Loss Statement. We submit a Supplement for items they missed — code requirements, overlooked materials.

Final contract: scope, conditions, warranties, pricing, full materials list, your color choices.
Commencement
Notice of Commencement filed with the county. Building permit secured and posted on your premises.
Build Day
1–3 days on-site, depending on roof size and weather. Typically 2–8 weeks since the Initial Agreement.
